I am an artist, designer and puppeteer. I have experience in outdoor theatre and folk drama practices such as mumming and hoodening. I work to commission in set design, prop, puppet and mask making. I curate and exhibit drawings, paintings, sculpture and film.
I am a versatile educator and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I currently teach modules in Theatre Design at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have also taught site-specific performance, art history, animation theory, drawing, professional practice and curating. I am a visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London, Birmingham City University and a creative practitioner for The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury.
I am a trustee for In A Space arts charity. I am co-founder and Chair of the community arts and heritage group Bringing Alive Sandwich Heritage (BASH). I have co-organised a number of events in the Sandwich area including Sandwich 1457 anniversary celebrations and The Winter Tales Festival of Stories.
