I am a puppeteer and puppet maker, with experience in street, folk and other rough theatre practices. I also work in set design and construction, prop and mask making. As a creative practitioner I curate and exhibit drawings, paintings, sculpture and film.


I am a versatile educator and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I currently teach modules in Theatre Design and Site-specific Performance at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have also taught art history, animation theory, drawing, professional practice, curating, post-graduate supervision. I am a visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London and creative practitioner for The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury.


I am co-founder and Chair of the community arts and heritage group Bringing Alive Sandwich Heritage (BASH). I have co-organised a number of events in the Sandwich area including Sandwich 1457 anniversary celebrations and The Winter Tales Festival of Stories.
